Mouse anti Horse interferon gamma antibody, clone 36 recognizes horse interferon gamma (IFN-gamma). Interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) is crucial to the immune response against pathogens and tumor control. It is a key cytokine in innate and adaptive immune responses. A variety of autoinflammatory and autoimmune diseases are linked to dysregulation of IFN-gamma expression. During initial infection, cells of the innate immune system (natural killer (NK) and natural killer T (NKT) cells), secrete IFN-gamma; followed by CD4+ Th1 and CD8+ T cells during the antigen-specific adaptive immune response (Schoenborn and Wilson, 2007). Mouse anti Horse interferon gamma antibody, clone 36, can be used as the capture antibody together with Mouse anti Bovine IFN-gamma:Biotin (MCA1783B) and Streptavidin:HRP (STAR5B) as the detection reagents in an ELISA. |
