Mouse anti Herpes simplex virus 1/2 gD antibody, clone 0195 recognizes glycoprotein D of Herpes Simplex Virus types 1 (HSV-1) and 2 (HSV-2). Glycoprotein D of HSV is essential for viral entry into cells and is similar in amino acid composition, but not identical, in both HSV-1 and HSV-2.

This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
