F Reset| Mouse anti-Pig CLEC12B antibody, clone PELE6 recognizes pig CLEC12B. CLEC12B is a C-type lectin-like receptor expressed on myeloid cells, playing a role in immune regulation and pathogen recognition. In pigs, CLEC12B is prominently expressed on alveolar macrophages and, to a lesser extent, on myeloid dendritic cells and plasmacytoid dendritic cells. CLEC12B is not expressed on monocytes, monocyte-derived macrophages, and monocyte-derived dendritic cells. Mouse anti-Pig CLEC12B antibody, clone PELE6, has been instrumental in characterizing the expression of CLEC12B on porcine alveolar macrophages and dendritic cells. This antibody has played a crucial role in characterizing CLEC12B expression and examining its function in immune responses, particularly in the context of microbial infections and vaccination strategies. Mouse anti-Pig CLEC12B binds and is efficiently internalized in dendritic cells without significantly altering cytokine secretion, making it a valuable tool for studying antigen delivery and vaccine efficacy in porcine models (Nieto-Pelegrín et al. 2020). |
