| Mouse anti human MDM4 antibody, clone AB01/4H9 recognizes protein MDM4 also known as p53-binding protein MDM4. MDM4 is comprised of four key domains, which include an N-terminus, an acidic region, a zinc region and a C-terminal RING. It is on this N-terminus whereby MDM4 binds to the major tumor suppressor p53 (Haupt et al. 2019). MDM4 is structurally similar to MDM2. Both proteins are involved in suppression of p53 activity and have been seen to increase in a number of cancers (Yu et al. 2020). |
