Mouse anti human ERRFI1 antibody, clone CD02-3E1 recognizes ERBB receptor feedback inhibitor 1, otherwise known as mitogen-inducible gene 6 protein (MIG-6). Expression of ERRFI1 has been shown to increase in the cytoplasm of growing cells (Wick et al. 1995). ERRFI1 shares significant homology with the protein product of rat gene-33, expression of which is increased in response to cell stress (Makkinje et al. 2000). ERRFI1 is involved in the regulation of EGFR signaling (Xu et al. 2005). Additionally, in response to stress, ERRFI1 has been shown to mediate response to DNA damage through ATM serine/threonine kinases (Li et al. 2017). |
