| Mouse anti Human CD185 antibody, clone rB1-10/4F11-35, is a recombinant monoclonal antibody that recognizes CD185, also known as CXCR5. CD185 is a seven transmembrane GPCR belonging to the CXC chemokine receptor family. It is highly expressed in mature circulating B cells, Burkitt lymphoma cells, subpopulations of CD4+ T cells and skin-derived migratory dendritic cells. CD185 binds to B-lymphocyte chemoattractant (CXCR13), leading to multiple cellular events including cell migration, survival, proliferation and modulation of gene expression. CD185 is involved in B-cell migration into B-cell follicles of the spleen and Peyer patches. It is up-regulated on effector and memory T cells after TCR stimulation, whereas IL-2 causes down-regulation. CD185 expression by TfH cells guides their migration toward B cell follicles. It has been reported that CD185 can be used as a marker to discriminate between different B cell subsets. |
