革新的なSpyTagとSpyCatcherテクノロジーは「分子接着剤」とも呼ばれ，科学界において多様な用途で活用され，新規な性質を有するタンパク質の構築やタンパク質の検出と制御に関する課題解決に役立てられています

当社は，リコンビナントFab抗体にSpyTagを付加し，それに結合させるためのSpyCatcherセットを開発することで， TrailBlazer 抗体を実現しました．

SpyTag付き抗体をさまざまなCatcherタンパク質と組み合わせることで，二価Fabや異なるアイソタイプのIg様抗体など，複数の安定した構造体を迅速に構築でき，アッセイ設計の幅が大きく広がります．さらに，あらかじめ標識されたcatcherを用いることで，部位特異的なコンジュゲーションが可能となり，抗体の性能向上にもつながります.

すべてのSpyCatchersおよびその誘導体（Table 1）は，重鎖のC末端にSpyTag2を組み込んだ当社の組換え抗体（Fab-F-Spy2-H形式）と互換性があります．SpyCatchersは，当社のTrailBlazer抗体カスタムサービスの一環として，組換えFab抗体に結合させることができます．SpyCatchersは，当社のカタログから購入し，ユーザーが反応性SpyTagを有する抗体またはタンパク質に結合させる用途に使用できます．
