Rat anti Mouse Interleukin-2 antibody, clone JES6-5H4
recognizes natural and recombinant murine IL-2.
Rat anti Mouse Interleukin-2 antibody, clone JES6-5H4 does not function as a blocking antibody (Sander et al. 1993
). For neutralization of murine IL-2 we recommend the use of Rat anti Mouse IL-2 antibody, clone JES6-1A12 (MCA1493

Applications of IL-2 antibody
|Flow Cytometry 1
- 1Membrane permeabilization is required for this application. Bio-Rad recommends the use of Leucoperm (BUF09) for this purpose.
Where this antibody has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. It is recommended that the user titrates the antibody for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
- Flow Cytometry
- Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul.
