CCL11 antibody

CCL11 acts as a chemoattractant for eosinophil recruitment to inflammatory sites, including during asthma attacks (Wen & Rothenberg 2016). Upon binding of CCL11 to its receptor CCR3, a series of signaling events are triggered which can result in calcium mobilization, CD11b upregulation, MAPK activation and actin polymerization. It can also result in a rapid change of shape associated with chemotaxis and granule release (Conroy & Williams 2001).
