Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by bacteria from the genus Mycobacterium that infect most vertebrate species. Many host specific variants of Mycobacterium exist, but most can cause disease in more than just the original host. Bovine TB continues to be a significant zoonosis in developing countries, while worldwide, multidrug-resistant strains of M. tuberculosis are an escalating health problem.
Our range of Mycobacterium antibodies, shown below, can be used for applications including western blotting, immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
