| Rabbit anti VSV-G Tag antibody recognizes recombinant proteins containing the Vesicular Stomatitis Virus Glycoprotein (VSV-G) epitope tag. Epitope tags are short peptide sequences that can be attached to proteins from all species, and do not affect the protein’s biochemical properties. VSV is a member of the Rhabdoviridae family, and consists of a single RNA molecule that encodes five proteins, one of which is a surface glycoprotein (G). G is a type I membrane glycoprotein and is responsible for viral binding to cell surface receptors and initiating the infectious process. Rabbit anti VSV-G Tag antibody is suitable for immunofluorescence. However, filamentous staining may be observed at dilutions lower than 1:200. |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
