| Rabbit anti Mouse Interleukin-2 antibody recognizes mouse Interleukin-2 (IL-2), a potent lymphoid cell growth factor which primarily acts on T lymphocytes, in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation. IL-2 stimulates the growth/differentiation of monocytes, macrophages, B lymphocytes, NK cells, and lymphokine activated killer cells which are used in experimental cancer therapy. |

Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.
N.B. For functional studies do not add sodium azide - Antiserum Preparation
- Antisera to mouse IL-2 were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
