Rabbit anti ZAP 70 (pTyr493) antibody recognizes ZAP 70, also known as Zeta-chain-associated protein kinase 70 when phosphorylated at tyrosine 493. ZAP70 is a member of the tyrosine kinase family. ZAP 70 plays a key role in the activation of T cells. ZAP 70 is phosphorylated at tyrosine 493 by Lck in response to T cell receptor stimulation (Wang et al. 2010). Phosphorylation of ZAP 70 at tyrosine 493 fully activates ZAP 70 leading to phosphorylation of downstream targets of the T cell activation pathway. |
