| Rabbit anti Human WDR5 antibody recognizes WD repeat-containing protein 5. WDR5 is a member of the WD repeat protein family. WD repeats are thought to aid the formation of heterotrimeric or multiprotein complexes. WD repeat proteins play a role in a number of cellular processes, such as signal transduction, gene regulation, cell cycle progression and apoptosis (Patel-King and King, 2016). WDR5 expression is vital for vertebrate development. In human cells, WDR5 is also required for binding of the methyltransferase complex to the Lys4-di-methylated H3 tail and global H3 Lys4 tri-methylation (Wysocka et al. 2005). |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
