| Rabbit anti Human UTF1 antibody recognizes undifferentiated embryonic cell transcription factor 1. UTF1 is a protein expressed in the nuclei of pluripotent cells such as embryonic stem cells and embryonic carcinoma cells where it regulates chromatin state and mRNA levels by promoting degradation of mRNA (Jia et al. 2012). Expression of UTF1 quickly reduces upon differentiation. UTF1 is overexpressed in cervical cancer cells (Guenin et al. 2012). |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
