| Rabbit anti Human TEAD1 antibody recognizes TEA domain family member 1 (TEAD1), also known as transcriptional enhancer factor TEF-1 or transcription factor 13 (TCF-13). TEAD1 is a member of the TEA domain (TEAD) family of transcription factors (Xiao et al. 1991) (Mar and Ordahl, 1988) and is expressed in a number of tissues including skeletal muscle and heart (Stewart et al. 1996) (Azakie et al. 2005). TEAD1 has a DNA binding domain called the TEA domain and a YAP1 binding domain. The presence of a YAP1 binding domain allows binding of cofactors to TEAD1 that enable TEAD1 to induce gene expression (Hwang et al. 1993) (Azakie et al. 2005). |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
