| Rabbit anti Human SMYD3 antibody recognizes SET (suppressor of variegation, enhancer of zeste, trithorax) and MYND (myeloid-nervy-DEAF-1) domain-containing protein 3. SMYD3 is a lysine methyltransferase that specifically methylates H3K4 and H4K5. As part of an RNA polymerase complex, SMYD3 is involved in transcriptional regulation. SMYD3 has also been shown to play a role in the regulation of some cancers (Van Aller et al. 2012) (Liu et al. 2015). |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
