| Rabbit anti Human PAX6 antibody recognizes paired box protein PAX6, also known as aniridia type II protein (AN2) or oculorhombin. PAX proteins contain a highly conserved DNA-binding domain, known as the paired box, and are important in the early stages of development. PAX6 expression has been shown to be particularly important for the development of eyes and other sensory organs as well as certain neural and epidermal tissues (Fernald, 2004). |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
