Rabbit anti Human NFATC2 antibody recognizes nuclear factor of activated T-cells, cytoplasmic 2.

NFATC2 is a 100 kDa member of the nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) family normally located to the cytosol. However, upon T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation NFATC2 is translocated to the nucleus where it becomes a member of the Nuclear factors of activated T cells transcription complex. The T cells transcription complex plays a vital role in inducing gene transcription during the immune response (Rao et al. 1997).

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

This product has been reported to work in the following applications. This information is derived from testing within our laboratories, peer-reviewed publications or personal communications from the originators.
