Rabbit anti JAK2 (pTyr1007) antibody recognizes janus kinase 2 (JAK2), also known as tyrosine-protein kinase JAK2, when phosphorylated at tyrosine 1007. JAK2 is a non-receptor tyrosine protein kinase involved in stem cell maintenance, haematopoiesis, and inflammation through its involvement in the JAK/STAT signaling pathway.

Autophosphorylation of JAK2 at tyrosine 1007 activates JAK2 and the JAK/STAT signaling pathway. (Lucet et al. 2006).
