| Rabbit anti Human GSC antibody recognizes homeobox protein goosecoid. Homeobox protein goosecoid is a 45 kDa protein that functions as a transcription factor involved in morphogenesis (Blum et al. 1994). GSC may also have an effect on the fate of neighboring cells. Malformation of the GSC protein has a range of consequences on embryonic development, leading to short stature, auditory canal atresia, mandibular hypoplasia, and skeletal abnormalities (SAMS) (Parry et al. 2013). |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
