| Rabbit anti Human G-CSF antibody recognizes human G-CSF (Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor), a 19.6kDa haematopoietic growth factor and member of the CSF family of hormone-like glycoproteins, which stimulates the development of bone marrow progenitor cells and in particular those committed to neutrophil lineage. The ability of G-CSF to stimulate the proliferation/differentiation and function of neutrophil granulocyte progenitor cells and survival of mature neutrophils, has resulted in G-CSF becoming an important factor in patient treatment following allogeneic (bone marrow/stem cell) transplantation and chemotherapy. To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hG-CSF (0.5 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.04-0.06 ug/ml of this antibody is required. |

- 1This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
