Rabbit anti Human FOXM1 antibody recognizes forkhead box protein M1, also known as M-phase phosphoprotein 2 or MPM-2 reactive phosphoprotein 2.

FOXM1 is a member of the FOX family of transcription factors (Korver et al. 1997) and plays a key role in cell cycle progression, maintenance of chromosomal segregation and genomic stability (Laoukili et al. 2005). In humans, aberrant levels of FOXM1 have been observed in a number of cancers, including basal cell carcinoma and cancers of the liver (Kalinichenko et al. 2004), lung (Kim et al. 2006) and colon (Douard et al. 2006).

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
