| Rabbit anti Human DMAP1 antibody recognizes DNA methyltransferase 1-associated protein 1, also known as DNMT1-associated protein 1. DMAP1 is a 52 kDa enzyme that functions as a subunit of several complexes involved in the repression or activation of transcription. As a component of the nucleosome acetyltransferase of H4 complex, DMAP1 interacts with the transcriptional corepressor tumor susceptibility gene 101 and the pro-apoptotic death-associated protein 6, among others. DMAP1 can also repress transcription independently through direct interaction with DNA methyltransferase 1 (Rountree et al. 2000) (Xin et al. 2004). |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
