| Rabbit anti Human ACTL6B antibody recognizes actin-like protein 6B. ACTL6B is is a member of a family of actin-related proteins (ARPs). ARPs are involved in a number of cellular processes, including chromatin remodelling, vesicular transport, and nuclear migration. ACTL6B is important for c-Myc oncogenic activity (Park et al. 2002). ACTL6B is a subunit of the BAF (BRG1/brm-associated factor) complex in mammals, which is thought regulate expression of genes in brain tissue via structural remodelling of their chromatin (Marcum et al. 2020). This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
