Mouse anti FKBP4 antibody recognizes peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase FKBP4, also known as p59 and rotamase.

FKBP4 is a member of the immunophilin class of co-chaperones, and also acts as a PPIase. Specifically, FKBP4 is a co-chapherone of Hsp90, required for RNA interference (RNAi) (Pare et al. 2013). FKBP4 is involved with embryonic implantation and decidualization, and expression is altered in the eutopic endometrium of women with endometriosis (Joshi et al. 2017). Downregulation of FKBP4 may be a significant contributor to infertility in patients who have endometriosis (Yang et al. 2012). The FKBP4 protein is also a component of the androgen receptor complex, required for the nuclear translocation of androgen receptor after ligand binding. It has been suggested as a therapeutic target in castration-resistant prostate cancer (Federer-Gsponer et al. 2018)		 PrecisionAb Antibodies
