IgG Antibody

IgG Antibody gallery image 1

A Mouse monoclonal antibody of the IgG1 isotype was run under reducing conditions on SDS PAGE using the Bio-Rad V3 system and transferred to a PVDF membrane. Bio-Rad Precision Plus molecular weight marker was run in lanes 1 and 5. 1, 0.5 and 0.25 ug of antibody were run in lanes 2, 3 and 4 and 6, 7 and 8 respectively. Protein detection was carried out on lanes 2, 3 and 4 using Goat anti Mouse IgG (H/L):HRP (STAR207P) at a dilution of 1/10,000. Detection was carried out on lanes 6, 7 and 8 using Rat anti Mouse Kappa Light Chain:HRP (MCA152P) at a dilution of 1/1,000. Visualization was carried out using the Bio-Rad ChemiDoc with automatic exposure time. STAR207P was specific for both the heavy (50kDa) and light (25kDa) chains whereas MCA152P was specific for the light chains

    • Goat anti Mouse IgG (H/L) polyclonal antibody reacts with the heavy chains of mouse IgG, and the light chains common to the majority of mouse immunoglobulins. This antibody has not been cross adsorbed against other mouse immunoglobulins, and has been found to react substantially with antibody light chains common to all mouse antibodies. Therefore, significant cross reactivity to non-IgG primary antibodies may occur. No antibody reactivity was detected against non-immunoglobulin mouse serum proteins. This antibody may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.

    • Product Form
      Purified IgG - lyophilized
    • Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 2.0 ml distilled water
Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
    • Preparation
    • Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to mouse IgG (H/L) was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.using antigens coupled to agarose beads.
