Antibodies to Co-stimulatory Molecules

Overview

Antigen presenting cells (APCs) are important in the initiation of an immune response and two signals are required for them to do this. 

The first signal is an antigen specific signal via the T cell Receptor (TCR), and secondly a non-antigen specific signal through co-stimulatory molecules. Some key co-stimulatory molecules are listed below.
