| Rabbit anti Mouse BRPF1 antibody recognizes bromodomain and PHD finger-containing protein 1, also known as peregrin. BRPF1 regulates chromatin by activating the histone acetyltransferases Moz, Morf and Hbo1 and has been shown to play a critical role in a variety of developmental processes including embryonic fibroblast proliferation (You et al. 2015). BRPF1 is also highly expressed in the central nervous system and plays a crucial role in the development of several important structures, including the hippocampus (You et al. 2014). BRPF1 has also been shown to play a tumor suppressor role in several malignant tumors (Huether et al. 2014). However, BRPF1 may also play an oncogenic role in some cancers such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) (Shima et al. 2014). |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
