| Goat anti Human CDK10 antibody recognizes cyclin-dependent kinase 10 (CDK10), also known as serine/threonine-protein kinase PISSLRE. Cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) are serine/threonine kinases with activity regulated by specific cyclin partners, and by CDK inhibitors (CKIs). CDKs are well-known for controlling progression through the cell cycle, but also regulate many other cellular processes (Lim and Kaldis 2013). Cyclin M interacts with CDK10, and the CDK10/Cyclin M complex mediates degradation of the oncoprotein and transcription factor ETS2 (Guen et al.. 2013). Loss of CDK10 appears to be a major determinant of resistence to endocrine therapy for breast cancer (Iorns et al.. 2008). In addition, CDK10 seems to act as a tumor suppressor in nasopharyngeal carcicoma and in gastric cancer (You et al.. 2018). Using a zebrafish model, CDK10 was found to participate in transcriptional complexes that play key roles during development (Guen et al.. 2017). |
