| Mouse anti RPL6 antibody recognizes 60S ribosomal protein L6, also known as TXREB1. RPL6 is a ribosomal protein which interacts with histone H2A and is recruited to DNA damage sites under the control of PARP. Here, RPL6 participates in the DNA damage response (Yang et al. 2019). RPL6 has been found to be upregulated in multidrug-resistant cancer cells, and could protect gastric cancer from drug-mediated apoptosis. It has been suggested that down-regulation of RPL6 in gastric cancer treatment could suppress cell growth and cell cycle progression (Wu et al. 2011). RPL6 has also been found to promote proliferation and tumorigenesis of gallbladder cancer cells through interaction with NSUN2 (Gao et al. 2019). |
