Mouse anti Chicken CD44 antibody, clone AV6 recognizes Chicken CD44, a type 1 transmembrane protein expressed by B-cells, T-cells, monocytes and epithelial cells. CD44 is expressed by a range of cell types and involved in various functions including cell adhesion and cellular activation.

Mouse anti chicken CD44, clone AV6 has been reported to cross react with Turkey recognising an antigen on IgM+ve B-cells and a subset of T-cells.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
