HeLa (lane 2 and 5) and HepG2 (lane 3 and 6) cell lysates were run under reducing conditions on SDS PAGE using the Bio-Rad V3 system and transferred to a PVDF membrane. Bio-Rad Precision Plus molecular weight marker was run in lanes 1 and 4. Rabbit anti Human GAPDH (AHP1628) was used as the primary antibody at a dilution of 1/1000. Mouse anti Rabbit Light Chain:HRP (MCA6003P) was used as the secondary antibody at dilutions of 1/5000 (lanes 2 and 3) and 1/10000 (lanes 5 and 6). Visualization was carried out using the Bio-Rad ChemiDoc with automatic exposure
Mouse anti Rabbit light chain antibody, clone SB62a only binds to the light chain of rabbit IgG and does not bind to the heavy chain. As such it can be used as a secondary antibody in western blotting, EIA and immunoprecipitation. This antibody is not recommended for the direct detection of reduced or denatured rabbit chains on western blots.

Store at -20oC only. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
