Sandwich assay with electro-chemiluminescence detection using the MSD Sector Imager instrument. Human anti Plasmodium Falciparum LDH (HCA158) was used as the coating antibody. The antigen (recombinant LDH from Plasmodium falciparum in PBST) was titrated using the indicated concentrations. Detection was performed with ECL-labeled Human anti Plasmodium Falciparum LDH
HCA158 specifically recognises LDH (L-Lactose Dehydrogenase) from the Malaria causing protozoan species Plasmodium falciparum.
Clone 14008 was selected by phage display under heat stress conditions. The Tm value for thermal denaturation of the antibody was measured by CD spectroscopy and has been found to be 70 °C.
HCA158 is designed for use as a capture antibody with HCA157P as the detection antibody in sandwich assay development.
HCA158 does not cross react with LDH from Plasmodium vivax.
Human IgG1 antibody selected from the HuCAL ® phage display library and expressed in a human cell line. This product is supplied as a liquid.
