Recombinant Bovine Interleukin-8 (IL-8) is a recombinant protein corresponding to aa 23-101 of native bovine IL-8.

Bovine IL-8 is produced by macrophages and released from several cell types in response to an inflammatory stimulus. IL-8 is a member of the chemokine family and as chemotactic factor attracts neutrophils, basophils, and T cells but not monocytes.
