Horseradish peroxidase conjugated Goat anti Hamster IgG antibody (STAR79P) used for the assessment of hamster IgG response following immunization with a series of immunogens.

Inducing the humoral immune response in hamsters immunized with different immunogens. Fifty micrograms of the recombinant protein were used. The groups of hamsters were immunized subcutaneously on day 0 and boosted after 2 weeks (day 14). Blood was collected on days 0, 14, and 28 after immunization. The specific IgG responses stimulated by the different immunogens were determined by an ELISA of the hamster serum diluted 1:50. The values presented are the means ± SEM for two independent experiments.

Goat anti Hamster IgG antibody recognizes Golden Syrian and Armenian hamster IgG (H+L) and has been adsorbed against both mouse and rat immunoglobulins to minimise cross-reactivity.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
