Rabbit anti Rat Collagen III antibody recognizes rat collagen type III, binding to both native and heat denatured collagen type III. This antibody is reactive with rat kidney, liver, skin and heart, but does not stain basement membranes.
The antiserum was cross-absorbed with immobilized rat serum proteins.
- Target Species
- Product Form
- Purified IgG - lyophilised
- Reconstitute with 0.5 ml distilled water.
Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
- Antiserum Preparation
- Antiserum to rat collagen type III was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography on immobilized rat collagen type III.
- Buffer Solution
- 0.15M Sodium Chloride
0.01M Sodium Phosphate
- Preservative Stabilisers
- 1% Mannitol
- Collagen type III from rat tail tendon.
- Approx. Protein Concentrations
- 0.1 mg/ml after reconstitution
- Prior to reconstitution store at +4oC.
After reconstitution store at -20oC.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
