| Rabbit anti Human CoREST antibody recognizes CoREST also known as, REST (repressor element-1 silencing transcription factor) co-repressor 1 or RCOR1. Encoded by the RCOR1 gene, CoREST is a well-conserved protein, down-regulated at birth, and with a specific role in determining neural cell differentiation. CoREST binds to the C-terminal domain of REST (provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011). Rabbit anti CoREST antibody detects a band of 65 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates. |
