CD286 antibody

TLRs play an important role in the recognition of invading microbial pathogens during innate immunity, acting through adaptor molecules such as MyD88 and TRAF6. CD286 acts via a cytokine signaling pathway to induce the activation of NF-kappaB, through the formation of dimers with CD282 (TLR2) which coordinate macrophage activation by Gram-positive bacteria and zymosan. CD286/CD282 dimers are also involved in apoptotic responses through recognition of mycoplasmal lipoproteins.
Rabbit anti Human CD286 antibody does not recognize CD281 (TLR1).
Rabbit anti Human CD286 antibody has been shown as suitable for use in IHC on Jurkat cell cytospins at 2ug/ml.
