| Rabbit anti Human ATAD2 antibody recognizes ATPase family AAA domain-containing protein 2. ATAD2 is a 159 kDa member of the AAA ATPase family of proteins. AAA ATPases regulate gene expression and are frequently dysregulated in multiple myeloma and other cancers. ATAD2 selectively binds to acetylated histone 4 and has been shown to regulate a number of cellular processes including cell proliferation. ATAD2 has also been shown to contribute to tumor progression in several cancers including hepatocellular carcinoma (Lu et al. 2015). |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
