Mouse anti nuclear cap binding protein subunit 1 antibody recognizes nuclear cap-binding protein subunit 1, also known as CBP80.

The adaptor protein NCPB1, along with NCBP2, comprise the cap-binding complex (CBC). The CBC binds the RNA cap and orchestrates multiple stages of RNA processing including pre-mRNA splicing, 3'-end processing, and recruitment of translation factors in the cytoplasm (Gebhardt et al. 2015). Nuclear cap binding protein subunit 1 promotes growth of lung cancer cells, wound healing ability, migration and epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and nuclear cap binding protein subunit 1 is overexpressed in several lung cancer tissues and cell lines. Silencing of nuclear cap binding protein subunit 1 in HeLa cells has been found to reduce cell growth rate (Zhang et al. 2019). 		PrecisionAb Antibodies
