Mouse anti Trypanosoma brucei procyclin GPEET antibody, clone 9G4 recognizes Trypanosoma brucei procyclin, the major surface molecule present, characterized by the pentapetide repeat (GPEET) attached to the membrane via a complex glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor (Bütikofer et al. 2002).
