Sex Hormone Binding Globulin
Purified Human sex hormone binding globulin, is a ~90 kDa homodimeric glycoprotein composed of two 45 kDa subunits linked via disulphide bridges. It is an androgen transport protein which binds and regulates the free concentration of steroid hormones and is involved in steroid signalling at the cell membrane.
