Goat anti Human survivin antibody recognizes human Baculoviral IAP repeat-containing protein 5 also known as survivin, Apoptosis inhibitor 4 or Apoptosis inhibitor survivin. Survivin is a 142 amino acid ~18 kDa proteins playing roles in preventing apoptosis and in cell proliferation. Multiple isoforms of human survivin may be generated by alternative splicing. Goat anti Human survivin antibody is expected to recognize the canonical isoform 1 and also isoform 2. However, goat anti human survivin antibody is not expected to recognize isoforms 3 to 7 which all lack the immunogen sequence used to generate the antibody (UniProt :O15392).

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
