| Rabbit anti Human histone H3 antibody recognizes histone H3, which includes the isoforms H3.1, H3.2 and H3.3. Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. HIST1H3A is an intronless gene that encodes members of the histone H3 family. HIST1H3A is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6p22-p21.3. (provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008). Rabbit anti Human histone H3 antibody detects a band of 17 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates. |
