Sandwich ELISA analysis of human granzyme B using Mouse anti Human granzyme B (MCA2120) as a capture reagent and biotinylated Mouse anti Human granzyme B (MCA2119B) as a detection reagent with recombinant human granzyme B as antigen. Detection is by HRP conjugated streptavidin and substrate. Microtitre plate is read at O.D. 450 nm on the Bio-Rad iMark Microplate Absorbance Reader (Bio-Rad Catalog 168-1135). Human plasma samples are diluted i:2 (green) and 1:4 (blue)

Mouse anti Human granzyme B antibody, clone GB10 recognizes the serine protease Granzyme B, which is expressed within the granules of cytolytic lymphocytes (CTLs).

Granzyme B plays a key role in the induction of apoptosis by CTLs. After delivery to the target cell Granzyme B activates the cascade of caspases that finally results in cell death.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
