Tubulin was detected with hFAB rhodamine anti-tubulin primary antibody (12004166) and visualized on the ChemiDoc MP with a 30 second exposure.

Mouse anti Human FTO antibody recognizes FTO, also known as AlkB homolog 9, alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase FTO, fat mass and obesity-associated protein and protein fto.

FTO is a nuclear protein of the AlkB related non-haem iron and 2-oxoglutarate-dependent oxygenase superfamily but the exact physiological function of FTO is not known. Other non-heme iron enzymes function to reverse alkylated DNA and RNA damage by oxidative demethylation. FTO has a role in nervous and cardiovascular systems and a strong association with body mass index, obesity risk, and type 2 diabetes (provided by RefSeq, Jul 2011).

Mouse anti Human FTO antibody detects a band of 60 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
