    • IL-10 has a range of biological properties, including inhibition of macrophage mediated cytokine synthesis, suppression of the delayed type hypersensitivity response, and stimulation of the TH2 cell response.

ED50 is <2.0ng/ml, as determined by the dose dependent co-stimulation of MC/9 cells (with murine IL-4).
    • Intended Use
    • Target Species
      Mouse
    • Product Form
Purified recombinant protein expressed in E. coli - lyophilised
    • Reconstitution
      Reconstitute with 0.1ml distilled water
Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
    • Preparation
    • Preservative Stabilisers
      None present
    • Activity
      5 x 105 units/mg
    • Purity
      >98% by SDS PAGE and HPLC analysis
    • Approx. Protein Concentrations
      0.1mg/ml after reconstitution
    • Protein Molecular Weight
18.7 kD (161 amino acid sequence)
    • Reagents In The Kit
    • Preparing The Antibody
    • Endotoxin Level
      <0.1 ng/ug
    • Test Principle
    • Buffer Solution
      5mM Sodium Phosphate
    • Storage
Prior to reconstitution store at +4oC. Following reconstitution store at -20oC.

This product should be stored undiluted

Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
    • Shelf Life
3 months from date of reconstitution.
