SFRP1

Recombinant Human SFRP1
- Product Type
- Recombinant Protein
- Specificity
- SFRP1
Recombinant Human SFRP1 antigen produced in Hela cells corresponds to human SFRP1 (Secreted Frizzled-Related Protein-1), a widely expressed multi-functional secreted protein, and member of the sFRP family. SFRP1acts as a modulator of Wnt signalling, playing an important role in embryonic development as well as proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis in adult tissues. SFRP1 acts as a promoter of Wnt-induced effects at lower concentrations, and as a negative regulator at high concentrations. SFRP1 has been implicated as a tumour suppressor protein in several human malignancies, including colorectal, breast, bladder, and ovarian cancer. Recombinant Human SFRP1 is a 283 amino acid residue glycosylated protein containing a cystene-rich Frizzled homologous domain. |
