| Rabbit anti CD49e antibody recognizes CD49 antigen-like family member E, also known as integrin alpha-5 (ITGA5), integrin alpha-F and VLA-5. It belongs to the family of cell surface receptors and mediates signal transduction (Liu et al. 2000). CD49e was shown to regulate proliferation and adipogenic differentiation of human adipose derived stem cells (Morandi et al. 2016). MicroRNA-205 (miR-205) down-regulates CD49e and this impairs triple negative breast cancer cell metastatic traits by inhibiting the Src/Vav2/Rac1 pathway (Xiao et al. 2018). |
